How do I access physiotherapy, podiatry or nutrition services?

You can access these services through a self referral or by discussing your needs with your GP during your appointment. Your GP may provide a referral or Chronic Disease Management Plan if you are eligible for Medicare rebates.

Yes, if you have an eligible Chronic Disease Management Plan or Team Care Arrangement prepared by your GP, you can access Medicare covered sessions for physiotherapy, podiatry or nutrition services.

You can book privately without a referral. However, if you are seeking Medicare benefits, NDIS, DVA, or WorkCover rebates, you will need an appropriate referral from your GP or specialist.
